Woe is me--Carb parts source needed

Hello, All,
Its been a while since I visited this forum, but circumstances have recently changed. I'm now the proud owner of my second 8N, a '49 model.

It's been neglected for five years or so, so it will be a day or three before it is up and running. However, the challenges have started allready.

I pulled the carburetor off for overhaul, and during dissasembly, one of the screws holding the choke plate to the choke shaft rang off.

Also, and I didn't notice this until comparing my carb with a picture in the manual, the throttle shaft is broken, right at the point where the linkage hooks to the carburetor. I walked back to the barn, and sure enough, that piece is still attached to the throttle linkage--looks like maybe something fell against it, or who knows, but its broken.

My question is--is there a source where I can purchase just a choke plate shaft and a throttle plate shaft? I'd really prefer not to buy a new carburetor. I've got an overhaul kit with new jets, gaskets, packing and such, but these shafts are not part of it.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Thanks to those that responded. This forum is one of the real pearls among so much junk on the internet.

My wife says if I spend another late nite out there working on this tractor, she's gone. I'm gonna miss her.

You bought the 'short' carb kit.
There is also a 'long' kit that comes with both shafts. It is less than $30 at CT Farm...
