Other than shape what is the difference between a scrape blade and a box blade? Is one better to use than the other for like leveling a yard or field?

Box blade has no reverse possibilities although it is possible to push dirt with them
Box blade can have rippers
Box blade can drag a lot of dirt
Box blade is limited to how much tilt by the leveling box

Scraper blade can be used at an angle to divert dirt to one side
Scraper blade can be reversed
Scraper blade can have end caps installed to drag a lot of dirt
Scraper blade (good ones) will tilt at an angle for ditching

Anthony..... ..with a scraper blade, you can "angle" off to the side, the dirt that you scrape. A box blade must follow directly behind your 3-Point and it just fills up. At which point you must lift the box to empty it. Box blades are a little more stout than the grader blade. Both have their uses..... ....Dell
