I can't see anything smaller than a cat 943 actually digging with a FEL, like Dell said. Backhoes and skid steers don't even have rippers on the front bucket. I can pull a 5 ft King Kutter box blade behind a '41 9N with all five rippers all the way down, works great

I just got a toothbar for my FEL (not on a 2N). I got mine from NewEnglandTractor.com They had a good price on a heavy duty toothbar. Bolted on easy, works great for digging up and pushing around brush. Hope this helps.

I don't have personal experience with these, but have read good reports about toothbars such as the ones shown on this site

Reno, I use a box blade (with depth adjustable ripper teeth) on the back of my tractor. It is really handy for ripping hard ground so I can scoop the dirt up up with the front end loader and haul it to the location where I want to dump. Also, the box blade works well to level dirt...much better then one can do with a loader. The box blade's weight helps with traction when scooping material in the front bucket.

Reno..... ..FEL's are NOT designed for heavy dirt work. Take a look at other FELs', they's AIN'T gotts NO TEETH. Remember, yer N's FEL is power UP and GRAVITY DOWN. That means it DON'T DIG, it scoops up and DUMPS..... ...respectfully, Dell

I would try a local construction equipment sales/rental co. Another place would be any construction cos in the area who would maintain their own equip. You could probably get used ones from them free.

I've bought parts from this company. I don't know if their backhoe bucket teeth would work for you, but check it out!
