Here is a picture of a tractor jack from the forties. My dad bought what I think was a 9N new. (We always called it a Ford Ferguson) He also bought this jack around that time. The larger pipe size at the top of the arms went under one of the fender bolts on each side and the connection between the front and rear jack was with a 3/8" rod that had hooks on the ends and folded up for storage. If anyone has a jack of this type I could use the dimensions for the rod as it is missing. Also I could use the size of the larger pipe on the end of the arms as they have been repaired and are beat up. This jack was used many times during the summer to widen the wheels for cultivating and then back again when finished so that it wouldn't be so wide for regular use.
