Used the N about 3 weeks ago to break up the ice on the drive. Ran fine. Tried to start her today and she started but a full throttle it ran real slow and took awhile to build up to that. Sounds like a 2-banger! Replace points, codensor, cap and rotor. Cleaned out the carb. No Joy. Now it barly starts and will not keep running. Any thoughts? With the front loader on dist. removal is a real piece of work! Pokey

Changes in temperature tend to add moisture to the gasoline, tractors dont run well with water and gasoline mixed , make sure your plug wires are on the right plugs for proper fireing order. ( 1243 )I dont see where you put in new plugs , thats the first thing I would do .

Hello Pokey I see you are still around! Put some new plugs in and double check your point setting to make sure it is at .015 if the plugs don't solve the problem. Double check your fuel flow also. Mark H.

Sounds as if it might be time for a set of plugs!

Give them a look, best of luck!
