a fella at work has offered to give me a front end loader that he use to have on his 8n.said it had a fairly new small trip bucket and when he had it on his it was connected to the aux port on the internal pump . not sure of the brand name and i am also not sure i would put it on mine but the price is right ( free ) so im going after it.my question is what something like this might be worth if i was to try and sell it

Probably a Freeman loader if it works off the test port. The down side is that the lift arms need to be chained down for it to operate. And, the tractor is not good for much else than using the loader due to it's weight & hard steering. Also, 6.00 x 16 front tires are a must.

Dearborn and Wagner trip bucket loaders here in SE Iowa rarely get more than $250. I know where there are a couple for the $200 range that have the pump with them to run off the crank on front of tractor.
As you said though, the price is right!

Sounds an awful lot like the one I sold for $450
Mine was old and used hard. Later I heard that I got lucky to get that much out of it.
Mine was a "DA-WEST"
