mine does not leak but is loose. when i tried to tighten it up the whole bolt turned with the castle nut. i have an idea if you have a problem like me when trying to tightening it up , is take a angle grinder and cut a slice or thin cut across the bolt big enough to put a big screwdriver in it for torque. and then take a wrench to fit the castle nut and crank on it to 150 # on the torque wrench. worked once for me , it may be all it needs for you. good luck abjahnke

Sorry Pete, no quick fix!! You have to remove the left trumpet to get at the castle nut on the inside..

Same side as your left when sittin' on the tractor seat. 8N owners can live with it for a bit 'cause of the tapered pin. 9N's and 2N's have a straight pin. Any movement on the pin is wallowing out the holes. If the hole is still round, the 8N will draw up. Once the 9N or 2N is wallowed, it needs the metal replaced, i.e. new trumpet, fill and drill, or maybe (don't quote me on this) JB weld.
