Hey Gang-
This is a serious message for all N owners who would like to see the heritage of their machines live on in the form of a permanent display in the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. The great minds that run it now have decided to do away with what little display is there now. This is a disgrace to the world and to Henry himself. We need to join together on this issue and vent our feelings and desires to not only keep the current display (I hear there are one or two tractors and that's it) but5 to expand it to include all of the later models as well-Jubilee, hundred series, thousand series, etc. If the administrators see how much sentiment there is out here in the real world for a part of America's history, for a part of the world's history, they may rethink their strategy. Below are the names of two contacts we can begin with. Write to them and express your feelings but remember we are an elite group, a classy group of gentlemen so please do not be crass, crude, rude, or vulgar in your comments. Be sure to tell them that if there were such a display that you'd be more than happy to pay the admission fee to see it. Money, revenue, bucks are all key words. Maybe then we can make them realize they are making a huge mistake by deleting the display. When the mail starts pouring in they'll reconsider I guarantee it.

I have met and know Leo Landis. He is a very sincere and dedicated individual. In your communications, please be respectful. I'm sure any decision to change or remove displays comes from management above Leo.
Unfortunately for us die hard N lovers, there is not the same appreciation by very many of the younger generations.
I made several trips to the museum last year to visit with Leo trying to secure the loan of the prototype N for our Southeast Michigan Antique Tractor & Engine Assoc. tractor show and the only patrons that I saw were groups of school children, scouts, etc with adult chaparones.
There are many fantastic antiques and possible exhibits in a huge warehouse that may never again be on display. Steam engines, antique cars, horse drawn equipment, furniture, ad infinitum.
Good luck with your campaign, I'll also make a call.

I sent them an Email.

I agree with you. Save the Ford tractors! They are the origins of all the modern tractors today.

Still using Harry Ferguson and Henry Fords three point hitch and hydraulics basics. Same with the wheel cofiguration etc.
