Looked at a 2N today for sale. It has a blue belly. I have seen this before on other tractors. Scraped a little paint-no sign of grey, just blue. SN checks out to be a 1945. What is the deal with the blue-was it English export or what? Thanks, Jack

Jack..... ..Speculation is that with the change in 1962 to the BLUE "World" series of Ford tractors, dealers were "encouraged" to repaint any "used" tractor going thru their lot to conform to the NEW blue and gray color scheme. Don't know fer sure but completely stripping the OEM industrial/battleship grey just to paint it blue don't make economic sense eather. I say iff'n its yer tractor and you can paint it any color that pleases you..... ...Dell, the 20/20 painter
