I have a ford 9N with no spark. I was replaced just about every part in and on the ditributor but I feel that when I took it apart and can't remember if there is a connection between the coil spring and the condenser connection. Is there supposed to be a coil strap or some type of connection in this area. Does anybody have a closer view of the area, because it's unclear. My manuals are still on order. A phot or picture would help alot. I would appreciate any help!

The coil's coil-spring should contact the screw-head of the points circuit, and a flat-spring on the coil should contact the rotor circuit inside the distributor cap.
