Was there a special bracket needed to attach the saw and did it have a special belt pulley or the original 9 inch. Thanks

The original pulley should be fine but there is a small bracket that bolts to the pulley housing for the top link off the saw to connect.

Dearborn made a bracket for this but one of my pulleys has a home-made one.

Its just me talking , last year at the local tractor show they were cutting wood run off an old belt from the pto, no safty nothing , one slip and say goodby to your hand , arm, I dont want to even think about it , be carefull if and when you get it working .

We used one for years (in the old days when still burning wood and for sharpening fence posts, etc.) without incident. You just have to be damn careful... true still today for any farm equipment.
