Last Fall before I put it away for the winter my NAA was dripping a little oil from around the steering gears. Yesterday I was mowing the field road with the Bushhog when my foot slipped off the right running board. Looked down and there was oil everywhere. There was so much I couldn't tell where it was coming from. Back at the shop, after cleaning everywhere I couldn't find any cracks or loose bolts. Took the battery out and I found that the oil was coming from the oil gauge. Tightened the oil line, started the tractor up, and really had oil gushing out. Took it all apart and found the brass fitting that holds the oil line to the gauge had split. I've had them vibrate loose. I've had them not seat right. Never had one split before.
