Seal question on rear axle

I finally got to clean off the left rear axle on the 52 8N an there are two small gaskets that I am not sure of the number. The first came off the axle when I took the drum off (I think ?) and the other one was next to the bearing on the wheel side of the bearing when I was cleaning off the bearing. They appear to be felt or cork and fit over the axle and are not very thick or high (about 1/8" or so).

The parts book and I & T manual are hard to understand in the seal areana. The serial no. of the 8N is 444857 if that helps.

I have looked at past posts and I am still confused about the seal arrangement.

Thanks,
Alex

Just use silicon in place of the gaskets
