I am sure you folks have seen this before...

My 8N lifts very slow and only when I get the RPM way up around 1800. This has regressively been getting worse over time. It acts as if the gasket on the lift cylinder is bad. After it is up, it will only stay up if the RPM stays up, otherwise it lowers, again, as if the gasket or the pressure relief valve on the pump were bad.

I overhauled the lift cylinder two winters ago w/ an NAA piston and gasket and replaced the relief valve in the pump last winter.

Any thoughts?
