i run a sickle mower behind a 9n and it works great for 4-5 hrs, then it works real slow until i let it cool for a hour or so. we just rebuilt the hyd. system, i'm thinking when the mineral oil gets warm it gets to thin.
the lift still works when it's warm but it's slow!
any ideas,

If the lift will hold the load up for a good lenght of time after it is hot and working slow it is most probably worn pump chambers.

If it goes down pretty quick it is something leaking internally. It is not the oil causing it although it will exagerate the leak the hotter it gets.
