R.M.in AL. As a club officer and member of the National Wild Turkey Federation, I sugest you contact the following NWTF Regional Directors in Alabama.Chris Adams-601/656-0834 cj_adams@bellsouth.net or Pete Elkins-256/236-1874, erfsal@earthlink.net
From what I've heard from your area, Chufa has been a very good Wild Turkey food source. The NWTF has various types of seed available for your area either free or for a minimal cost along with instructions. They also have a Regional Biologists assigned to your area to assist people like you willing to construct food plots. Good luck with your plantings. Up here in Gods country near the shores of Lake Superior, we plant various types of clover and grasses along with flowering crab trees and various shrubs. Ron
