I have said it before, but put a bottle jack under the bolt and raise up on it to take the weight of the tractor. THEN from the top beat DOWN on the axle and/or the radius rod. I don't work well upside down!

Yeah, back the nut off to where the end of the bolt isn't exposed and wail on the nut with something like a 3# drilling hammer. It'll move. You can put torque on it while you hit it helps some. Hitting up from underneath will wear me out pretty quick though.

Put one end of a kid's teeter-totter under it. Then smack DOWN on the other end. Oh, and take the kids off first.

You use toys to work on your tractor?

Odd, but then you are California.

Never heard of anyone paying thousands for a teeter totter for working on the tractor.

Also unbolt the radius rod on the transmission side to release any tension.

If you haven't done it already, use some Kroil or PB Blaster penetrating oil first. Hope to help, Eric

Do you have a large cast iron "C" clamp? Get a 1" thick board and drill a hole in it and place the board over the bolt head. Tighten the C clamp while pecking on the bottom. Might use another board on the bottom of the bolt to prevent damage to the threads.

After you get it out clean up the hole with sandpaper on a dowel rod and an electric drill.
