IS THERE A PARK BRAKE FOR AN 8N,SO YOU CAN GET OFF WHILE TRACTOR IS RUNNING?

My wife got me the parking brakes from Red Rock as a Christmas present last year for the 50 frontmount. She doesn't know it yet, but I'll need another set for the 50 sidemount next year! These brakes really work, are easy to install and a lot safer (and easier) than the brake pawl.

Yes but it is strongly preferred that you not get off the tractor while the bush hog blades are still turning. They would make a mess of you.

One thing that I'll add... with my 8N (at least) I don't rely too heavily on those brakes, as my brakes aren't real great. All that to say, those parking brakes are only as good as your 'regular' brakes...

Yes.. they came from the factory with them. Those little pawls on the brake pedals can be flippe dup to engage that small plate with the teeth.

There are also aftermarket hand parking brakes that look easy to install.. use a camming action to engage brakes.. red rock manufacturing may make them..
