Just bought a '52 8n with a complete Wagner on the tractor. Loader works however ram for front bucket is leaking. Any sources for packing kits? I also would like to get a manual for the loader any sources, are the available??? Could anyone email me a copy for reference. Thanks. By the way bought the tractor for 1500 with loader, dearborne backblade, original paint (needs re-paint) runs like a top. Did I do okay??? My first 9n is still in pieces with a cracked block... need to put back together. Anyone need a project??? I can load it with the new loader.

Thanks

Hi Andy,
I bought my 8n with a wagner loader too. Like yours,my bucket ram leaked. It lifted ok,but the bucket would not stay in the "tipped" position.
It was very simple to disassemble and once that was done,I took all the parts to a local hydraulic shop and they matched up the parts for about 30 bucks. Works great now. Good luck,John

I had the same problem on my Dearborn. I took off the nut and removed the packing. Went to a local tractor shop and matched up the size. They are usually sold in a set. A hydraulic co. would have it too. Don't tighten the nut too much with the new packing the ram won't extend. Good luck.

Andy,
Best I can tell you is try the link below. Page down to "loaders" and look for at least a parts book on yours. Good people at N-news. For the time being, you might try tightening the nut on the end of the cylinder. LOL
