I was just curious if Gaspump was OK??? Soundguy reminded us, and I remember Zane mentioning he is from that area... Maybe we should start thinking of him... He usually posts at least once a day,, and hasn"t since Charlie...
Sure hope he"s OK,
Adam

Thanks all for your concerns! We are doing very well in east central FL. Storm hit us pretty hard but nothing like the Punta Gorda area. We had winds in the 80-90 range and only damage on my place was a few downed trees and some soffit torn off the house. Here on the coast the storm went to sea about 15 miles south of me and made a left turn north so it skirted us but by going around us we But that meant were in it for over an hour 10:30pm till near midnight Fri. while it arced around us, not 10-20 minutes as most. Our 1/2 mile street was a mess with 16 large pines down across it and most of them across the power line. About 8 neighbors and one with a Ford 555 loader and backhoe started at 4:30 am Sat and had the street passable by 9am. Some fine gentlemen from Alabama working for Mastec worked all day yesterday on our street to restore power at 4:30pm, We truly appreciate folks like that that are willing to help out when disaster strikes, a big Thank You!!! I have a generator that gave us lights and water but no A/C nor hot water. Had breakfast with RayTasch on Sunday and they too are fine with mostly downed trees and a lot of cleanup, they are going on vacation now. Hope to see many of Y'all at the Florida Flywheelers Fall Fuel up this Nov, Flywheelers Park was right in the worst part of the storm but I have not heard damage reports from there but I'm sure they too will recover! Our prayers to those on the West Coast that were devistated.
