Only trick is doing it without damaging the veryfragile radiator fins and core. Put a piece of cardboard over the backside of the radiator before you do anything else. Saves your knuckles too.
When finished the belt should have only 1/2" play with moderate pressure midway between genny and crank pulley. That's a tight belt and you can take two hands and not turn the genny pulley to slip the belt.
I like to lube the hose bib with a thin layer of silicone for that rubber hose and to give a nice seal.

There is a difference between the water pumps and lower radiator hoses between the front mount and side mount distributors due to the relocation of the generator from the LH side to the RH side to accomodate the front mount distributor.

Make sure you get the correct water pump for your application. (Are there some replacement water pumps that will work on either application?)
