Hi All,

I was just looking at the Inman Farm Heritage Days web site and thought you all might like to take a look at the announcements and new attractions for this years show. The show will be September 17- 19, 2004.

My wife Barbara and I have attended the show for the last couple of years and we thoroughly enjoy it.

Actually, we don't get out much due to my wife's disability. She is severely disabled due to a brain tumor. However, she likes old tractors and enjoys going to the Inman show. We have a battery operated wheel chair that we take so she can scoot around without me having to push her around in the manual wheel chair.

Last year some of the YT Mag. N board regulars met up and had some fellowship and chat. Unfortunately, I missed that meeting.

Anyway, I didn't mean to ramble on. Here is the Inman Farm Heritage Days web site if any of you want to take a look. Rick H. Ga.

Gina and I are planing to be there on Saturday. You will know us if you see a white haired lady on a little red scooter. I will be the one with the pot belly and the white mustach telling her where to point that scooter. :)

I did enjoy last years shoe very much and everybody I talked to was very nice and interesting too boot.

Sorry you won't get to come to the show Gaspump. Maybe we will see you at the show in Fort Meade FL at the FL flywheelers show. I really did enjoy it last year and meeting the other FL guys there. Hope to see you there.

My sister lives in Lakeland and we stay with her when we come down. She moved into a new home and the next day the storm hit and she hadn't even begun to unpack and the power was off for 18 hours but there was no damage to speak of around their community which is the Publix golf course area on Lone Palm Drive.

Got to find that guy who rents the golf carts and reserve one soon.

Zane

Hey Rick, I really wanted to meet you last year, as I'm really hoping to do so this year!
Sherry and myself will be there on Saturday.
I didn't think we make it this go around, as we are getting married a few days later...
From the impression I'm under, we'll be hanging out with Eric ATL and Donna. If Zane, Bill or Ed go, we should be able to recognize each other, which will be good for Eric...
Last year (if you remember) I tried to get us to meet at the gristmill.... That really didn't work to well... Then I wound up finding a group of folks by a small grouping of "N"'s and said, "Ya'll ever git on that inter net thingy?!?!?!?" And sure enough, I met Bill, Zane and Ed....
I look forward to meeting you and yours,
Adam
PS (and I think this goes out to Bill) I hear SOMEONE makes some awesome ribs.....

Thanks for passing on the information. Enjoyed it last year on Fri and Sat am and was hoping to attend again this year but I am way behind on the normal chores and still cleaning up downed trees after Charley and Francis, a very messy couple. Still since sat no power, no cable, phone works about 1/2 the time, making do with no A/C and cold showers! Dodged Francis last Sat and Sun at Warner Robins with friends so another trip up there is a little more time than I can spare as of now. Got to prep for a possible Ivan too!

Gaspump,
Lord knows you are enduring a lot!!!
I'm really glad your OK!
I'm hoping to meet up with you though at the Florida Flywheelers show in November... That's the big one right? I'll be calling the Flywheeler Park either tomorrow or Monday to get a heads up though... Never been there before, so any insight you have would be great.
Either way, stay safe with Ivan!!!
Adam

Thanks for your concerns, we had a lot of rain and 65 MPH winds gusts to over 90MPH here with both storms a few hours with Charley and about 36 hrs in Francis. Enough in our area to cause superficial damage to sound structures but nothing like the folks had to endure where the eyes came ashore. Rainfall here was 18" the week before Charley and don't know how much the canes blew in as Charley took my rain guage. I estimate 6-12" with each storm and it is not over yet, pouring down outside as I write this! We all are in full support of those that had homes devestated in the areas that were hardest hit, Our Prayers are with them! The big Flywheelers show is in Feb, the swap meet and show in Jan and the Fall Fuel up Show in Nov. The Nov show is very large and big enough to suit anyones liking and it is easier to move around and meet people, hence usually is more relaxing, I like it. The Flywheelers park was hard hit by Charley and I suspect Francis, BUT we had great shows there before there were roads and buildings so I am truly sure that it will be a great year despite the setbacks. Hope to meet You and many others there Y'all come on down!

Correct, the big Annual Show is in Feb. All shows run Th-Fr-Sa & Sun. All shows have a lot to see including the Jan Swap Meet which is as much a show as a swap meet. Check Florida Florida Flywheelers dot Org.

Thanks Rick, Donna and I plan to come down on Saturday. Probably late morning. We rarely get to sleep in and with the kids gone that weekend I don't think she'll want to be dragged out of bed too early. We need to figure out a way to meet up. I've never been to a show so I don't have a clue. Although, over on the Ford board I can buy one for $400.00. What a deal huh? Eric
