Hey folks! I picked up an 8N about a month ago. I have oil coming out of the oil cap after I run the machine for awhile. I bought a new cap, but it didn"t make a difference. The tube itself has a baffle in it. My questions are - should the tube be filled with baffles? If so, how difficult is it to replace the tube? Do you have any other solutions to cure the leak?

Probably blowby.. but check your oil level.. if it is too much oil.. it will really splatter out bad..

That tube is fine! in reply to twodogs, 09-13-2004 08:52:53
Your piston rings are bad. Blow-by comes out that tube.
You don't believe me? Do a compression test: tester $15 at autoparts or Sears.
