Carb Question

Working on a pretty nice 8N. Initial issue- running on three, resolved with new points (with new wearplate). Now engine dies at full throttle. Runs fine at idle and upwards. Quick application of choke will bring it back for about 45 seconds. Do not think this has anything to do with original problem or solution.
Cleaned carb. Cleaned all air/fuel passages. Float ok and adjusted to about 1/4 inch. New float needle and seat.
Good flow from tank through gas line (and to a jug).
Filter in side of carb is gone- and passage open. Am I overlooking a discrete carb vent somewhere?
Ideas, opinions appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Don't just check fuel flow from the line.. check it from the bottom of the carb. Also.. with the elbow screen gone.. you are just asking for debri in the float valve.

If you rebuilt the carb.. any chance you reversed the main and idle jets?
