Guys, Thanks again for the help with my oil pressure question. Now I just found out that I have a 9n not an 8n. I assume the oil pressure answer is still valid. I have a new dilemma. I bought a 5ft king cutter bush hog and the frame is hitting the rear tires. My wife reminded me that when I had this problem with my last Ford I had to buy a chain extender kit for the arms. What is it called? Where do I get it? Ever even heard of it? Thanks Ron

if the toplink is too long, the cutter will hit the tires - try shortening it up

King kutter right? My 5' KK runs fine behind my 8n or NAA.. Check to see if your lower lift arms are oem or have been cut and welded shorter. If it only touches in a turn.. get a stabilizer bracket set.. should be less than 25 bucks for the cheap set from tsc.. comes with 2 brackets, 2 small pins, and 2 bars ( gotta pick the pieces up seperastely.. but should all cost less than 25$ )

Also grab a couple lynch pins. The brackets mount under the fenders using the fender bolts.

Her's a pic of the brackets under my 2n. It is the left side bracket, as looking from the rear of the tractor.

Here is a pic of a guard I made for my KK hog for use on my NAA. There should be at least this much room behind the hog to the tires, as this guard rides about an inch behind my tires.. and I have the big 16.9x24 turf jobs.

hi ron, when you say the cutter is hitting the tires, is that all the time, or just when you turn the tractor? what brand is the cutter? the only thing that i can think of, is if its all the time, has the tractor got the correct 3 point arms on it ? if its in the turn, you will need a stabilizer arm kit, assuming you don't already have them, is the cutter kind of a flat fronted one or is it one that has a raised front section, hind of like a shed roof when viewed from the side? tell us more about it. good luck, eric
