Need to replace the above due to wear. I noticed that what"s on my tractor near the steering sector is all one piece with the connecting tube, but no one sells these anymore. Can I just get the front and back ends and use the 8N connecting tube?

No.....Front tie rods are available but the rears are not.If you want to replace the rears, you will have to buy the Naa rear tie rods and tubes, which are available. The 8n tubes are too short to use with the rear Naa tie rods.Any questions....give me a call. don

You are correct. The rear half of the 9N/2N drag link is one piece with the ball joint integrated into the tube. No way to replace it. YOu can replace the front ball joint (tie rod end). I ended up with one good side and one worn side when I went through my 2N. I ended up going to the salvage yard and purchasing a good used rod for fairly cheap. If you decide to go that route, be advised that they are right- and left-hand specific.

NH ain't got em in reply to Rob, 09-19-2004 17:20:49
You can still buy new 3-piece drag link assemblies and sub-components, but the older 2-piece components are no longer available except for the front tie-rod end.

He's asking if he can get three pieces. New Holland doesn't have 3 pieces for his tractor? Your post is confusing.

I thought you were saying NH had the old style 2-piece sections. You are correct. The 3-piece is available, 2-piece is not.
