it's one of those stories where you get real close, and you think you've snagged a rare (well decent) find, a great price, everything is all set, then, at the last minute... no go. no sale. the person learns that what they have is rare, and decides to keep the 9N and it had a serial number around 950. can't remember the exact number but it was less than 1000. Thought I would keep it under wraps and work on him for another week, but I opened my mouth a little too much, and he begins to do some homework, learns some things about his tractor in the garage across the street, and the sheet metal is straight, no rust, original front tires etc. etc. It was one of those "you lose sleep, and you figure out how to come up with the money hard as it is...with everything else going on..." and it falls through. He decides to keep it for his grandson....but says, i'll think about and I'll call next week (yeah right). No lollipop for you. you get the story...I get no cigar. -9N'er
