Hey guys! Just wanted to say thank you for the warm wishes!!! I’m so glad for this forum, and the fine folks I got a chance to share this wonderful life event with… I was a most beautiful and precious wedding. A very small people-wise event with only immediate family members present. I got Sherry a horse drawn carriage to arrive on, and we were wed at a quaint square in Savannah called Lafayette Square. Savannah is the city of squares with about 24 of them… Lafayette square has a small fountain, plenty of “live” oak trees with Spanish moss, brick walkways, gorgeous landscaping and is surrounded by churches and temples as well. A very special place. The native people around town were all so friendly and respectful. During the ceremony, you could hear a pin drop in the square, and afterwards, well-wishers and passers-by were congratulating us to what seemed like hundreds of times. It was perfect. On another note, you guys were right. The good fortune came back to me (us). Remember that mans tractor I fixed a while back??? Many mentioned the favor would be returned… Well, those who did were really right!!!! As luck would have it, we were out running errands a couple of days before the wedding when we stopped at a coffee shop. Sherry noticed a lady with an “up do” hairstyle, and wanted to know where she got it done… One thing led to another, and Sherry and I, the woman and her girlfriend (who are both older and retired) all sat around talking for a bit, when they offered to photograph and film our wedding. “Sure, why not” we replied… We actually didn’t think they would show… Only because it was just such an informal offer…. Well, two days later, they were out at the square filming and snapping away… And they were so cool about it. (I was thinking to myself, how am I going to entertain these folks) And they were staying out of the way of the professional photographer!!!. At the end of our small and short ceremony, they handed us an envelope…. That evening, after the dinner, we got back to our hotel, and were very curious…. It was the first card we opened, and I think it got us both a bit choked up with happiness… It was the most beautiful, hand made, personalized card you ever did see, with a $20 dollar gift certificate to the coffee shop…. What a wonderful, genuine, act of kindness! The following day, we called to say thank you, and they reminded us that we still needed to pick up the video and photos. In addition to that they quickly mentioned that with the retirement, they love cooking and would we like to stop by for dinner… Not wanting to be rude, we said, “Sure, we love to stop by”. Dinner was just fantastic, the photos turned out great, the video was burned to DVD, and to top everything else off, they made a cake that had decorations on it that literally looked like Sherry’s bouquet!!! They were both married, and the husbands were just as friendly, it was just unreal…. Better than a Publix or Hallmark commercial!!!! It was as if two little Angles gave us a visit!!! Just wow! Now all we have to do is think of a way to thank them... Anyway, to bring this long post to a close, I had the best time of my life! Thanks again guys, Adam
