Some of us have no choice but to buy one from the nearest farm store. I bought my #800 boom pole from a local farm store (Big R) for about $80. (Free of shipping) And, it has been faithful and handy. Don't shy away from buying what is available, if it keeps the locals in business. John

Their are plans to make one on the net and have see were someone has made a engine crane to hook to the 3 point, maybe they will ring in. This did come up a few weeks ago and their was a picture of the engine crane boom pole. I have a engine crane that sits out side most of the time and plan on adding the 3 point hook up so I can move it a round and get it out of the rain. Theirs no room for it in the shop so I need to store it under one of my sheds but it does not roll on rocks well. I have seen the engine cranes for $99.00 not much more than I paid for my boom pole ($60.00} new from a implement dealer who sells out of his yard. lOOK in the yellow pages under Farm equipment - whsle & mfrs.

By the time that pic is expanded to a readable size, it's so fuzzy it's not readable after all. :{
Any chance of getting a larger version?

Depends on your location, usually any farm and/or implement dealer. TSC also has them. I got mine new from the local tractor auction for $50. Remember you will not need a real heavy duty one for the 8N that only will lift about 800# max, the 1500# light duty boom will work very well.

Check to see if that was thier light duty or heavy duty one. I think I remember paying only 49.99 about 4 years ago for my light duty one.. which by the way has had about 800# on it and it worked great.
