Trying to remove the valves from my 8n.Does anyone know where to purchase the special tools Ford dealers use to remove the valves? The Valve Lifter "6505-A" and the Jack-type lifter. Or any suggestions on how to remove the valves. Thanks for the help. Mike

Go to ebay and on the top right of page type in valve spring compressor. I see them go fer less than $20 bucks all the time, so cheap everybody should have one

Sears sells the c-type spring compressor Hobo uses. I have a 24" prybar modified slightly to narrow the tip rather than the screwdriver. Sometimes that isn't enough.
End up busting the guide to get it out. Talking hammer and chisel now. No great loss.

Good pictures Hobo.
