I am looking for a Precision Model of the Ford 9N and also Ford 8N to add to my collection of Precision Model tractors we had or our neighbors had when I was growing up on our farm in the 1940s and early 1950s in Jackson, Minnesota. Any suggesitons where these might be available?

Thanks

You may like the Danbury Mint 52 8N better than the Ertl Precision. I found the difference quite remarkable and they run about the same cost. There are usually a couple of Ertl Precisions and Danbury Mint tractors on Ebay every week. The Danbury Jubilee is good too - I don't have that one yet.

I didn't know Danbury offered a Jubilee. I know that Franklin Mint offers a Jubilee. Is that what you mean?

Palmer Fossum's (Northfield MN) tractors were used as models. Last fall he had a 9N and 2N (steel wheels) in his office... Try giving him a call.

I saw a magazine on an airplane called Fine Arts Models. These things are amazing. They are all hand made and would probobly work if you gave them gas, air and spark. Very spendy. Ther is a store at the mall of america that sells a great model of an 8N. You could probably find them on the Mall's web site. Cost of $100 or more.

I saw a nice 8N model at the Ford New Holland dealer. It was very detailed, the price was $150.

Paul, I see them on Ebay pretty frequently. The Precision models frequently sell for over a hundred bucks, however.

Click here for a 9N model currently being auctioned..

Good luck..... .Ed
