I would like to start the fabrication of my rops however my 8n is up north. I have decided to make them out of 2x2 steel which I have available. If anyone can give me the following dimensions I would greatly appreciate not having to do the drive. Your opinion on the height and the width. From what I have read about the width I would like to make it 44" wide. Will this fit between the fenders and be clear down to the axles? The heigth I have no idea of, from the top of the axles upward. The main reason I so desperately want to do this is safety and want a plastic roof to keep the sun and rain off me. I will print all dimensions we come up with and then make drawings of the finished product so that it is possible for all to make if need be. Thanks to all on this board for all they do, I really appreciate it. Paul

Good Luck with your ROPs. Just remember the best safety device is between the seat and the steering wheel.
