Has anyone else had problems with yt? They sent
my order to NY. It took Three weeks to make Oklahoma. They had no explanation. The address
was correct on the bill. Where to buy next?

Well, actually I had the opposite problem. Stuff I ordered came in way too soon. I wasn't quite up to the motivation level I needed to tear apart the front end, replace King pin, new pully, stinger, draining radiator, gas tank, and the hassel of working around FEL etc. It takes me a few hours (sometimes days)of looking at the job and drinking coffee in the morning. But you can't put the job off when the boxes are piled on the seat by the wife and mentions the garage space it is taking. I really enjoy YT and this site. trg

One instance does not make poor service. My guess it was a typo on the zip code. Anybody can make a mistake, and nobody can be error free. Don"t give up on someone for one mistake. I"d hate to have to meet that impossible standard, and I"d suspect you would as well.

Why am I getting double quotes in posted messages when I know I entered an apostrophe? I know because I used my back button to check my original typing!

Are you cutting and pasting from another program? The problem seems to be that this site does not have a character set set in the header, so if you are using explorer it does not "know" what to do to translate the character set in the program that you are cutting from to the character set used by this page (whatever that is). If you don't cut and paste that won't happen. I'm just guessing that is the problem. Bryan

No cutting and pasting going on. Just typing into the YT 'post a followup form' (these were entered as apostrophes) using an IE browser. I had been assuming that it was more proof that I just couldn't type. But I have seen a couple of other posters may have the same problem by what appears to be inappropriate use of double quotes.

Ron..... ...I know you're frustrated over what appears to be slow or sloppy service, (and you may be right) and it may make you feel better to vent about it. ...but... may I respecfully suggest you vent and complain DIRECTLY to the vendor about your perceived problem instead of NAMING the vendor on the NBoard. The vendor probably won't be reading this great NBoard and will NEVER know about your problem..... ....respectfully, Dell

I ordered new front wheels two weeks ago and got them in two days. Good service as far as I was concerned-the tires/tubes took a week from another vendor.

Maybe a month ago I got ammeter for 8N thru YT, it showed up in less than a week without fancy shipping. I think in general we're all spoiled these days when something doesn't show up instantly. 3 weeks is discouraging but maybe an aberation.

The one time I ordered from here it came as planned... sounds like you had some bad post office problems..

If yt addressed it properly.. sounds like it is a post office screw up.
