Today when I got home from work I ate supper and when out and checked the perimeter of my electric fence, fed my goats and put the halter on my Llama and worked with her for a few minutes with a lead rope. Then I got on my newly restored 53 Jubilee and drove it down the road about a mile or so and then drove it back home waving and smiling at all the neighbors along the way.

Sometimes I wonder if my mind is right:-).

Normal.

I really think you just wanted to make the neighbors jealous. Grin

On the Llama. What do you do with them? There are a few places around here with them.

Mark

Well, I had a pretty heavy task for my tractor a couple of weeks ago. I was bow hunting, and wanted to look around the property to check out the most recent deer activity. Not wanting to leave a lot of scent, the N was the tool of choice. Covered a lot more trail than I would have been comfortable walking (and leaving some human stink behind!) Hopefully some day soon it will have the extra task of dragging Bullwinkle out instead of just toting me around!

I haven't found anything better for a hanging place to dress out a deer.
Stick your basic boom pole on the 3point, hang your gambrels from the end and you can situate the deer at the perfect height for dressing, plus, you've got the flexibility of being able to dress it out, wherever you want (i.e. where you were going to dispose of things, anyway, instead of toting them around)...

Hopefully, I'll be lucky enough to drag one out, tomorrow sometime...

Steve

You are lucky that none of your neighbors have a 15 yr. old boy that is wanting to drive your tractor when you are away, some day. Better keep the battery out of the tractor.

I found a gate in need of repair the other day. Hoofed it to the barn and drove back 1/4 mile on the tractor with one little crescent wrench for the repair. Very important job for the tractor!

Sounds kinda selfish to Me. You could"ve at least hooked up the trailer and hauled the Llama around.

That sounds like pretty normal behavior to me! Folks around here even take their tractors to the Turkey Rod Run car show at the Daytona International Speedway and get to pose like the cars do right on the finish line!
