Not intending to be competition with Mark H., but this is a drawbar receiver hitch that I designed and built last spring. It is very simple to make. I have plans in AutoCAD and in .pdf for free. E-mail me if you would like copies. Philip.

Philip,
Does your hitch address the problem with the 3-pt raising up when you go down hill or apply your brakes? If so, how does it work? Thanks.

John

John, yes and no. If you want full hydraullic control, then no. As Mark said, the chains can be adjusted to limit movement. You can also add stays to the top link, but that will make the drawbar receiver rigid, which may be right for some applications. I have a picture with the stays on it as well. Send me an e-mail mail and I will forward it on if you like. Philip

No problem at all, nice hitch I like your chain stop for uplift on the hitch! Thinking of incorperating one on mine also. Plans are OK but some do not have the Equipment to weld and make them. I never figured I could take over the market just make a few for those that needed them. Paying a welder to finish them can add up also depending on who you have do it. Mark H.

Thanks Mark, I just did not want to start another Zane copy copyright infringment etc thread. I had planned to post this last week but I was out of the office most of the week. I have had lots of request today. It is amazing how similar the 3 point hooks up when comparing our two designs. I guess there are only so many ways to do it, and I think ours is the simplest and the best. Once you get those dimensions, lots of designs are possible. I hope you sell a few to those without welders. For now, I am using the welder at work. I would like to get a 220V mig, maybe a big work bonus at Christmas time? Philip.
