Can anybody tell me what tool or method to use to remove the bushing for the ball-drive shaft from the rear of the governor housing?

I used a tap to thread the bushing an then used a small slide hammer to pull it out. Another way that is mentioned on this board alot is to fill the hole with grease, then use a punch just big enough to fit in the hole and hit it with a hammer to force it out.

Use a taper or plug tap to thread bushing then
use a bottoming tap to finish threading bushing
and bushing will come right up as you keep turning
the tap. Hope this helps
