3! Well almost:

1. 1978 Kubota L225 - cultivator & planter in my veggie garder. Landscape rake fdor leaves in the fall.
2. 1964 Ford 4000 (model 41202) Any "real" work I have to do, such as brushhogging, plowing, etc.
(and if I ever get the rusted wheels slid in on the axels)
3. 1941 John Deere "H". Will not use except for hayrides for my daughter & friends after restoration.

I have 1 (one) 44 2n Ford equipped with a Ford front end loader and a 5 ft 3 point mounted blade. so far I've used it for land leveling, moving piles of dirt and slash, moving firewood, moving the piles of rocks that seem to grow like potatoes around here, and as soon as it snows deep enough I'll be smearing snow around. it also seems I'm using it to reintroduce cleaned and refined petroleum products to the earth. I need to fix some hydraulic leaks on that loader...someday.

I have a '49 8N....used for shredding, blading, disking, planting, and for aggrevation. I have a Ford 1220 glorified garden tractor with FEL and roto-tiller. It also works well with a five ft. shredder. And last but not least I have a Case 1290 with FEL used for chiseling, disking, planting, moving and loading round bales, shredding, and digging post holes. AND I WANT MORE!!!!! !! hehehe....

I've got a '47 built 8N and a '53 Jubilee or NAA if you prefer. I use them for mowing, brush hogging, hauling firewood, moving stuff on a trailer, blading the drive, moving dirt/landscaping etc on my 37 acres. I also have a '49 8N, Ol' Rusty, that's a project tractor and sometimes shares the chores.

I still just have the one tractor, a 1955 Ford 850. I use it to cut, rake and bale a little hay in the summer (about 250 bales a year), move snow in the winter. Other than that I use it to move heavy objects around with a boom pole or pallet forks. I've also used it to pour cement from a 3 point mixer (TransMix). I also used a box blade to tear out some grass and convert it to vehicle parking area. Used the grader blade to spread the gravel.

I once had a Farmall Cub, too, but it only lasted 18 hours. Bought it for $500 on a Saturday and sold it for $1200 the next day.

I have a 46 2N that I got when my father passed a few years ago.
In summer it runs a 6" finish mower and in winter I use it to plow snow. In fact I just spent the morning taking the mower off cleaning it up, lubing it and sharpening the blades for next summer. Then I put the snow plow on and the rear end is up on a jack waiting for me to put the tire chains on. Last fall I bought a 65 ford 2000 and put a one armed loader on it. Don"t know how I lived this long without a loader...
I use the 2000 for most of my work now. Plowing and discing up wildlife food plots, bush hogging etc.

I have a '41 9N that was just tuned up in preparation for snow plowing. It's used for dragging a riding ring and towing a work trailer.
I also have a '57 Powermaster that runs but needs an engine overhaul and some other work, and I have a '63 4000 with a FEL thats used for bush hogging and pushing up the manure pile! All three of them keep me busy and never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I'd own any of them.

Have a '52 8N with a 6-7 year-old restoration. Absolutely runs like a top! It belonged to my father-in-law, who passed away a couple years ago. I've been doing maintenance on a machine that was very solid when I got it. I'm going to do some paint and cosmetics work on it this winter and use it in our local parades. Also have a 2000 Kubota 4WD L3710GST with a FEL. Real workhorse for a 40 HP machine. We have a 15-acre RV park on the Texas gulf coast and we just about built this place with the Kubota. I greatly appreciate the kind words and insightful help from you all at the forum.

Well, lets see, bought my first tractor 51 8N 15 years ago, it is now in the process of a complete restoration. Since that time have done a 52 8N with a 60hp conversation. I have 3 9N's, 4 more 8N's, one odd ball tea 20 and a 1970 ford 2000 and my latest is a nice original 600 with a set up motor. All 12 of these and I own less than 2 acres. Wife thinks maybe I should sell something, but she really doesn't care as it keeps me home at night.

'48 Farmall Cub: mowing field, brush-hogging paths through the woods (the Jubilee won't fit!), plowing snow

Lets see..

46 ford 2n, sherman od, 12v-grnd(alternator), just a show tractor.

50 JD B, styled ( though no fenders ) electric start but has wico-c magneto for ignition. Also show only.

52 ford 8n, 6v+grnd.. pretty much all oem except the 1 3/8 pto shaft and the front grill.. though i do have the oem grill. Bumper is oem rivited one. This tractor box blades and runs the seeder/fertalizer, and pasture drag.

54 ford NAA, 12v-grnd (alternator). Has nice big 16.9x24 turf tires. Mows and also pulls the 'hay ride' trailer during the holidays.

66 IH cub, 12v-oem. Mows with a IH 44" belly mower. Has a front blade.. but we don't get snow in FL!

2002 NH 7610S, This sucker just mows.. Currently with a 10' 3pt rotary mower. ( 10 ac in 2.5 hrs in 5th gear. ) ( My wife actually picked this one out... )

My first experience with tractors was 5 years ago. I purchased an 8N with a loader. Nice tractor, but not quite enough hp. I purchased a NAA a couple of years ago, and sold off the 8N. It was a sad day to see the 8N go. That must be the reason so many people hang onto tractors. The NAA is used to bushhog 5 acres, plow and disc a small garden, push snow in the winter, pull a trailer around the yard to do maintenance.

I feel a little silly saying that I have just one. I have a 1951 8N. It's mostly original with the exception of live hydraulics. (Thanks Zane!) I use it to plow snow in the winter and just tinker with in the summer.

I've got 3 N's, all 6v positive ground. My first one is a 1950 frontmount; totally rebuilt engine in June of this year. This was the work horse around the place (10 acres, 3 open) until I rebuilt it & painted the engine; now, I don't want to get it dirty! I'm the third owner of this tractor, and unless someone replaced the cluth pedal, it has very low total hours as the pedal is not worn smooth like my other 2 N's. This will be my first total renovation project when I retire 6/06. My next tractor is a 1951 N, Sherman trans, filled tires & wheel weights w/ a Freeman loader and soon to have a Live Thang for live hydraulics. Until last month, it still had it's original wiring. My newest tractor is a 1950 sidemount; this is now the designated lawn mower & bush hog tractor, and will be renovation project # 2.

I have a '41 9N that I use, mostly to do maintenence on the road into my place. I also have a fork lift attachment that I have used to move heavy junk around. I have a '52 8N that is relatively new to me. So far I have been doing work on the hydraulics etc. Figgure I will educate myself in tractor maintenence and restoration and turn it into a trailer queen someday.
I also have a '47 Minneapolis-Moline UTS that I mostly throw money into. I have no idea what I will do with it when it is restored since it doesn't have hydraulics at all. The plan was to have a heavy-duty tractor to do bigger pulling jobs with but if I had to do it over again I would put my $ into a 800 series Ford

52 Ford 8N, used for light blade work, mowing, etc, 50 Farmall C mostly retired now, but some light work such as mowing, and a Ford 5000 diesel with loader for the heavier stuff. The 8N and C were my fathers tractors and hold more sentimental value, but the 8N is about the handiest tractor on the place and gets worked regularly.

Well I have of course my 1951 8N that is used for many things - brush hogging, PHD, snow removal , back blade, small rear scoop , and its favotite job pulling the hay wagons. Also have and IH 656 for running the haybine and baler. This one also does a decent job of pulling my neighbors little far east POC out when he gets stuck! (has also been used to rescue the 8N once or twice).
I am not even going to mention my Bolen EK-10 with front mower, 30 inch snow blower and articulated steering. Nor will I say anything about my Yardman 22hp 50 inch mower (best I have ever gotten from MTD- they have since discontinued/changed this one- go figure)
Mentioned to the Mrs it may be easier to buy more tractors than to hassle with changing implements and she just gave me the "stare"?

I need (ask my wife)a'42 9/2N, and a '49 8N and a '50 8N to complete my stable, 1939 thru 1953. All of these have auxiliary transmissions except the '39. Many are "works in progress", waiting for me to retire.
My '51 rides the trailer and is currently getting ready for the light parade. My'52 is my workhorse, mostly to mow lawn and brushog the trail around the property. Once in awhile it might auger a hole or use the rake or scraper. On very rare occassions it might pull the Dearborn 2-14 plow.
There is also a Farmall H looking for some work to do besides an annual hayride.

6 right now. '40 9N, (3)side dist. 8N's, a '53 Jubilee, and a '46 2N on blocks for parts. Some sit with for sale signs but, most all take turns with disc, cultivator, forks, hitch, scraper, & PHD. I have a "refurbished" JD B coming this spring in payment for some labor for the guy next door. That puts me 2 over my wife's tolerance level so I gotta make some choices SOON!

1950 8n for brush hogging/flail mowing and moving logs around, Grandpa's 1960 631 for brush hogging. He brought it up to the city to use it more because he couldn't get to Lake Texoma (3 hours away) often enough to use it, not to mention the twisted pto shaft, and with time, a stuck clutch. It lives under a rebuilt carport at our pecan orchard doing mowing jobs as needed.

I have two 8Ns - a 1948 and a 1952. I use the 1952 as my workhorse on my 42 acres doing brush hogging and such, and the 1948 model is a trailer queen deligated to such work as hay ride wagon pulling and such.

I also have a 1954 NAA that is in SEVERAL pieces in my garage as I slowly work to bring it back to life. Not sure what I will do with it, may sell it to support my tractor rebuild addiction...

Let the 2000 and SM go on Dads cleanup sale. Sold 800 on consignment auction. The last three tractors listed were ones I bought private sale.
Sold the Cockshutt-30 to a friend. He now has it restored and shows it at the antique old iron display at Stuhr Museum,Grand Island NE.

Retired, sold out and moved south. These were all good tractors.I cant say we had any moe trouble with one then the other.

Ya"all have a Happy Thanksgiving.Be thankful for what you have and stay happy.
