8n tire chain problem

My dad has a 8n w/front loader (round tube type support not sqaure) and what I believe are 10 28 rear Ag tires. The problem is clearance for the 5/16" link chains . Can"t get them past the rear hydro cylinders for the loader to get them on the tires. Right now the tires are mounted with the concave side towards the axle hub. What we are wondering is if the tires were flipped would this provide enough clearance for the chains. Rears are filled so it will be quite a task and we did"nt want to just try it and find out it doesn"t work. Hope this makes some sense.

Thank you in advance or any info. Sam1

Its not a bad job unbolt the tire/wheel from the center and roll it forwards and lean it on the loader nice and easy, don't want to knock it off the jack. Then unbolt the center and flip it over and then roll it back and bolt it back on. That should get you about 2 more inches to play with. Also only jack it up enough just to clear the ground by say 1/2 and inch or so that way its easy to get back on
