Just want to say Hi to you'all. I've been straight out lately but I do keep up with the latest and greatest in old tractor technology.

Still using an 871 SOS that I restored and someday soon I'll post a picutre of the tractors I restored and the house that has kept me from enjoying the camaraderie here on on the Ford discussion side of things.

Nice to hear from you! For those who are fairly new and haven't been exposed to 9N'er's talents, here's an example of what comes out of his workshop.

Is that an original grill or a replica? I'm working on restoring an '39 9n and have heard about some guy who makes reproduction grills and have considered ordering one. It sure makes the tractor look awesome!

As I remember, 9N'er bought a reproduction aluminum grille for that restoration. But I don't remember where he got it. If you post a new thread asking for aluminum grille sources, maybe he'll see it and respond.

There was an aluminum grille on ebay last week that was advertised as an original. It sold for over $330 even with a broken fin. I don't know what the repops cost.

Do you have 2 license plates on that tractor, or is it just one facing the front of the tractor? I have a 1947 NC license plate for my '47 2N and I intend for it to face the rear so the tail light's clear lens can shine up onto it. Just curious. That is some AWESOME work! WELL DONE!
