My tractor seems to be running great.
Idles and revs well and all hydrolics are functioning.
When I put any kind of "load" on it, ie. climbing slight inclines, it looses power and dies.
Checked the spark by pulling the plug wires from the cap, all are sparking good.
I am not a mechanic but I like to work on it myself.
Hoping someone out there may have some ideas for me.
Thanks, Tony B.

Thanks,
I tried everything else mentioned in the replies to my question, with no luck.
However, I want to thank everyone for offering suggestions.
It just does not seem to be fuel related.
I will try to open the points.
Let you all know.
Thanks.

How long does it take once you put the load on it to start sputtering and dying ? Have you cleaned out your sediment bowl and all 3 filter screens lately ? Any water in the gas tank ?

I know the popular saying here that most fuel problems are really electrical, but on my NAA the only time it sputters is if I'm going up a hill & the fuel level is low, or there's a bunch of crud in the filters or sediment bowl. Sounds like it's starving for fuel...

Thanks.
I had a leak in the line from the point where the bowl attaches to the tank, so I changed the entire unit. Its brand new, with new fuel. The two screens in the bowl are new. I did not know there was a third. Can you tell me where?
Thank you.

One at the glass sediment bowl, one at the elbow going into the carb, and one on your shut off valve , inside the fuel tank...You have to take the valve off to reach it. I'm sure someone has a picture that shows all three...

One: your not suspecting I fried the coil then?

Two: I don't have the first of the three filters.....instead I have a conventional in line fuel filter from Pep Boys that I already blew out..... ...but I can check the other two....the elbow filters seems easy to remove and check but where is the flat screen filter located..... .do I have to tear the carb apart to get to it?

Thanks,
I did not know about the one at the elbow.
I will check it.
It's got to be something simple. I hope..... ...

It maybe running lean or you may have a clogger main jet in the carb.

Thanks, I'll check the carb.
If I am too lean, is there a good source of instruction for setting the carb?
I have a shop manual (reprint), but it does not cover the basics very well.
Thank you.

It should be the adjustment one the bottom of the carb just open it up a half turn at a time and give it a try
