Today was very cold (- 12F) and I forgot to plug the heather on my NAA. Snow removal was on the schedule so I said to myself "Why not give it a try". Well she started right up, a real mean machine she is. After that the fluffy stuff was blow away in less than an hour. Sometimes I feel that my NAA knows that winter is serious stuff around here and she's ready for it. I really enjoy the old cookie even if she blows a lot of snow in my face.

It was -20C here today (guessing -15F?, maybe lower), and my 540 started right up to put round bales out. No heater on it, so plugging in isn't an option. Now, out of 3 vehicles in the driveway....the diesel wasn't plugged in, so didn't even try it....the 2001 fired right up....and the wifes car....well, lets just say a new battery would be a good idea...

It's cold (-1) here too. The winds are howling, and I have decided to leave the snow in the driveway. I can still drive over it, so it is no big deal. Tomorrow looks like a heat wave (25), so I can get to it then.

Not just the tractor but the operator too! I got a heater too but never have used it cause I can't take the cold as good. I did bring in a couple of loads of wood for the wood stoves with my 8n today but it was at least 30.

Starting right up in -12 degrees? I would say she is a tough cookie indeed, and the owner keeps it in top shape! I am glad I live in Texas where we never see that kind of temperature. I would not find out how good a shape my tractor was in, because I would not go out in -12 degree weather!

Congrats,
Dan

I'd rather have the cold than heat & humidity. I lived in Corpus Christi for 3 years, I hated breaking a sweat walking from the house to the car (40 feet) in the summer...
