“I wrote this little story in light of recent happenings in our society.”

TITLE: If Jesus Were A Child In A Modern World.

My name is Jesus, and I live in a modern world.

I am no longer allowed to attend school.
My teacher is no longer allowed to speak my name.
Since they don"t know what to call me, they said I must stay out.
I looked through the window one day and saw a student with rings in his nose and strange looking hair, but they said I must stay out.

I have a birthday every year, but now I cannot attend.
Instead, they invite a man who gives presents to all the kids, though its not even their birthday.
When a friend asked me what I got for my birthday, I was ashamed to say that I wasn"t even allowed to go to my own party.

My father wrote a famous book. I went to the library to check it out but it wasn"t there. I saw a book about how to make a bomb, but my fathers book was not there.

My father also wrote a book for Moses. I went to the courthouse to see this book of commandments, but they said it wasn"t available for public view.

They said I would have to take my case to a court of supreme people.
The court refused to here my case. They said they had to separate themselves from me.

On my way into town I walked by a lawyers house that is on a hill, he was building a big wooden cross in his front yard. I wonder what he"s going to do with that thing.

I like to make things out of wood too, since I"m learning to become a carpenter. I think I will build a rocking chair to relax in when I grow old. I can"t think of any reason why I wouldn"t grow old. Not while living in a modern world.

Gimme a break. Christians have dominated western culture for centuries and go around acting like they are so persicuted. Just celibrate what you have and be merry.

And next time you post, would you make it about tractors please??!!

JHC,

I also don't do Jesus, but I found long ago this is the Jesus Tractor board. It really dosen't bother me as I am fine with people having their own beliefs. Even go so far to say I respect real Christians if they practice what they preach. At least they don't advocate violence (well unless they kill you for your belief system ...ie witchcraft,heresy,inquisition...ect) but that was in the past and was done by CORRUPT "christians" not current ones.

You will get no respect on this board for expressing negative views of christianity, & no reason they should give you any.

Fact is these people are good people & just feel they should express their beliefs especially in the Christmas season. Traditionally tractor people were farmers & as such most have been church going christians. They also sometimes cussed their tractors when they broke & the preacher was out of earshot.

If it really bothers you, think about Henry Ford, he had some "different" world views.

Remember, people here that express their religous belief are doing it in a decent way & don't seem to think it offencive in any way.

I like to think I can set an example by being tolerant, even when others are not (ie...thinking other world views will burn in eternal he11 for not being christians.

I'm a Christian and have no disrespect for my fellow Christians. The fact remains that Christians have dominated Western Civilization for centuries and the persicution complex is just silly.

If you want to worship Jesus, there is no one stopping you so quit complaining about intollerance.

And have a Merry Christmas.

Well you two certainly made a fine spectacle of yourselves. It's one thing to disagree, but then you have to move beyond that, and tell him what to post, and where. I do know, that it doesn't take long to see the differences in folks, it seems to me, being that time of year, tollerance might have been a virtue here. I just keep thinkin that if you want to be the boss of a board, perhaps you should create oneThey're cheap you know. I'll part with a merry,, Yavul, mine Grinch!!

If you belive that the bible is god inspired, then read the gospel of john a few times and then post your thoughts on the views of Darrel(OK). Thank you Jesus for my salvation, and may many others be found by you. John 3:16

JHC,
If your a Christian son I believe if'n I wus you I'd hit my knees and ask Jesus for some more love and compassion for other folks. There's time for everything else now a days, cept the Lord. I thinks it's time we all got our priorities in line with Him. He's always first and formost in my life and should be in everybody's life as well.
