I know some of you'uns have heard this but I thought it was pretty good.

Ol' Bill had an old 9n rusting away behind the barn. Zane finally told him he'd give him $200 for it which Bill agreed to. After a few weeks, Zane got it running and Bill agreed to buy it back for $400. He then put some new tires on it and a month or so later sold it back to Zane for $600. Well, Zane, being the industrious feller he was, slapped a coat paint on it whereup Bill then said he'd give Zane $800 for it. Sale was made. Bill messed around and put new wiring and headlights on the 9n and by this time Zane was willing to give $1,000 for it. A few weeks later a flat land N wannabe came through, saw the 9n and offered Zane $1,500. As you can imagine he didn't hesitate. Word eventually got back to Bill that Zane had sold the tractor to a "furriner" and Bill became violently upset, exclaiming to Zane "Y' damn fool. Why'd ye sell the tractor? Bo'fn us wuz making a pretty good living off'n it!!!"
