Dusty cam over to help with the peas and cabbage, so I recruited him to help mount the new engine on the NAA. Went smooth as silk, so I figured I'd go the distance and fire it up. Got gas via a temp tank, got fire via a battery and jumper cables, got ignition via a jumper wire from + on coil to + on battery, and can't get a spark when I connect the ground jumper to the frame bolt to complete the circuits and spin the starter. It turns over real good, but there just ain't no fire from the coil.I've got a new Genesee 12v ss ignition system, black wire to coil -, red wire to coil +, jumper wire connecting coil + to battery + for ignition, and jumper cables to spin the starter from the same battery. This should be a complete 'hot wire' system, yes? My stoopid alarm is going off, I think I might have missed something, or else I've got a bad module or coil... Ramrod
