Does water drops around the cell caps of my battery suggest it's getting overcharged?

Are you saying these "droplets" are forming on the outside of the battery?? Or inside on the bottom of the caps? Is this after you have used the tractor for a while? Or when you like check the battery water after an idle period?? At any rate...the only way to really define an "over charge" condition in a typical "at home" situation is by measuring the charge voltage present across the battery posts. But all batteries do develop a slight internal pressure when charging....thats why vent caps are...well...like...vented. Since there is an egress and ingress of atmosphere whenever a battery goes from charging to floating it is possible for droplets of water to form from a normal cycling. Unless you are repeatedly "boiling" water out of the cells and having to add copious amounts of water to keep the plates covered....I'd say the droplets are normal.

A defective battery may get "messy" even if not overcharged.

Check your charging voltage of the unit has run a while.

Charged 6 Volt battery will be 7.2 to 7.6 Volts.

Charged 12 Volt battery (with alternator) will probably be 14.5 to 14.8 Volts.

Not sure how it is these days... but a 12v window used to be 12.6 to 13.2.
Good luck.

The voltages for a 12 Volt system I listed are (as I noted) for a typical alternator, and are correct.
