Dell or anyone else, I have a friend that has a ford tractor with a 12 volt conversion. Said that it charged good until he had some welding done on the tractor. Now he has to keep the motor rpm high in order to get any charge at all. I asked him and he said that they didn't disc the battery when they did the welding. He had the alt tested at a shop and they said that it worked. Do you have any advice that I could give him? It is a one wire alt.
Thanks rjohn
