I can't find the exact weight for the N(gine) but I did find some VERY reasuring info:

Chrysler 331 Hemi 1955 --->745#

I think the 4 cyl N-gine "may" weigh less than a 1955 castiron Hemi.

Tim, if ain't too personal: how much did you pay for that stand? Could you also use it to jack up the rear end, let's say to adjust the brakes?

I am not 100% sure anout the 9N/2N/8N engine, because the oil pan is very heavy, but the 750 lb. engine stand holds my NAA engine fully loaded with no problems. I replaced the bolts that came with mine with some grade 5 bolts. I wanted grade 8, but could not find the 7/16" size grade 8 bolts at the TSC store.

I have seen pics of a 9N engine with the oil pan installed on a 750 lb. stand before.

HTH,
Dan

My cheapey engine stand dropped a 454 Chevy one time cause of junk bolts,upgraded to good bolts,have had to problems since..Don't think an N engine would be a problem..
