Went to put on the (original I think) gas tank on the Old Warrior last night after work, and imagine my surprise when it wouldn't fit due to the radiator. It looks like I will need to push the top of my (original) radiator forward a couple of inches to make it fit. It will then be leaning slightly forward, does this sound right?

I had a similar problem with my 640.(practically the same) My problem was the fan hit the fan shroud. (by alot) Had to make tapered washers to mount under radiator to lean it back which lowered the bottom of the fan shroud. Was original tank but replacement radiator. (not chinese, but foreign) Could've been the way I mounted the shroud. Had all kinds of room to the gas tank/bracket.

Ramrod, the gas tank mount is pretty finite; the radiator mount at the top has some flexibility in terms of fit. The only thing that holds the top of the radiator in place is the top radiator hose. HTH. Rick H. Ga.
