I would like to add some weight to my tires and try the blade on some snow plowing. I’ve read a post about a valve/tool to hook up to a power drill and use as a pump to fill the tires. Does any one have a part/tool brand name or better yet web site which sells them? I’m assuming that this would be a less expensive solution than calling local Farm/Tire service for a service call. I also have two neighbors and a brother in law, who would probably get some use out of this tool. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Check out Gemplers website, They have a good tool
which lets the air out as the fluid goes in.
Get the $13.95 one. Item number AQF1

Drop me an e-mail and I'll send you a page out of and old tractor manual that tells you how to fill your tires at home. I done it a number of ways the drill pump works ok but is slow and they way the manual show works well and thats with out a pump but its also a 1935 manual

Um.. I've seen drill powered pumps that will hook up to a garden hose.. But I don't think ya need it. Instead try napa or TSC for the little 'burp' connection. i hooks up to a garden hose and lets you add water tot he tire.

Most also rig up some small tubing to a funnel so they can add some antifreeze to the soloution. Any you add will add to the weight.. and well.. you know.. help keep it from freezing.

I was thinking of adding RV anti freeze to tires. I did not think water was good idea (not been over 32 F for 10 days here). Would a mixture still be enough protection aganist freezing?

Randy..... ...RV toilet anti-freeze is definately safer to use around possible leakage where dogs can slurp that sweet killing automobile type anti-freeze. (not a pretty sight, anti-freeze poisioning)

You only need anti-freezing protection to about 10-15*F, 'cuz then it turns into a slushie and still sloshes around the tire as you roll. Read the anti-freeze lable for mixture strength. Your 10-28/11.2-28 tractor tire needs about 23 gals for about 80% fill. ALWAYS AIR in your tire, 12psi..... ....Dell

If you have garden sprayer, just take off the sprayer hose and use some gas line, fill up the sprayer and you can pump it right in the valve stem (valve removed of course)

Its a little slow but cheap and simple.
