I need to buy a PTO belt pulley for a 9N with a
1 3/8 PTO shaft.

Does anyone know where I can buy one at a fair price? Thanks.

Leon at NW Fl.

Ford did supply an adapter extension so that the 1-1/8 belt pulley could be used with the 1-3/8 shaft. Required an PTO adapter to go with it. Long bolts too.

Not sure if they are still available but as recently as 10 years ago one could get an adapter designed to space the pulley away from the tractor enough so that the commonly available 1-1/8 to 1-3/8 PTO adapter could be used between the pulley and the PTO shaft. I have both of these on my pulley as both of my Fords have the larger PTO shaft.

I have one I'll part with. All 3 of my Fords are otherwise occupied, so I have no way to use it.

My health keeps me from checking for sure, but I think it is the early 1 1/8 size. It has the paper pulley and it should be in good condition. I think it is workt at least $50.

They originally came only with the 1 1/8" but I understand that Ford did come out with a replacement input for the 1 3/8" shaft. Just a simple change out. I have seen both at some tractor swap meets. you just need to look around for one.

I believe belt pulleys for N tractors have only ever been made for 1 1/8 shafts. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

I agre. Look for a pulley for a 601 or 801 or later models with larger shaft. If org. doesn't matter MF had pulley with large shaft. BURT.
